Carnival Masks for Corporate Events
When we started out in 2007 we had no clue about introducing custom designed unique carnival masks in South Africa. Masquerades and carnivals are not part of South African culture, definitely not compared with Europe. We realised early on that the best way to go about it would be to follow the lead of our clients. Whatever they require, we deliver.
Whoa! Over the years this concept has pushed our boundaries and opened up unbelievable opportunities that we never even thought possible. Who would have thought we would supply masks to New York, Venice and The World cruise liner to name only a few. The flying Swan Pig has perhaps been the most bizarre request.
Let’s start with Nissan’s launch of their new vehicles in Sun City, 2008: “Do you supply table centre pieces?” YES we do. We ended up with our first large order: 700 guest masks and 65 table centre pieces which we had to set up and dismantle on site. Extraordinary what a simple YES can do!
Jägermeister™ enquired whether we could include branding onto the masks, and could we custom design to suit their theme “Release the beast”? And we did! Branded party masks were born!
Standard Bank™ masks painted blue with silver highlights, we attached the printed invitation onto the ribbons. Then we had a new way of marketing – carnival masks used as the invitation!
Key Group, Durban went one further, they needed colour coded boxes with tissue paper to match each mask set. “Oh yes and could you do the swingtag invitations as well?” YES we can.
Investec™, Durban; “We are hosting an event at Madam Zingara and need matching sets, but all the sets must be different, can you do that?” YES we can. Packed in a black box with black tissue paper, each matching set was hand delivered as the invitation.
